Why Roaches Are a Serious Pest
Roaches are more than just unpleasant to see. They can carry bacteria and contaminate food preparation areas, cabinets, dishes, and stored food.
Roach infestations can also cause:
Food contamination Allergy and asthma triggers
Unpleasant odors Rapid population growth inside the home
Different roach species behave differently, which means each infestation requires a specific treatment approach.
Below are the most common roaches we treat.
Types of Roaches We Treat
German Roaches
German roaches are one of the most difficult roach infestations because they reproduce extremely quickly.
They are typically found in:
• Kitchens • Bathrooms • Appliances
• Cabinets • Behind refrigerators and stoves
German roaches are small and light brown with two dark stripes behind their head. They can quickly spread through kitchens and food areas.

Asian Roaches
Asian roaches are strong fliers and are commonly attracted to lights around homes.
They are typically found:
Around porch lights Near doors and windows
In garages Around landscaping
Although they mainly live outdoors, they can still become a nuisance when they enter homes in large numbers.
Signs You May Have a Roach Infestation
Seeing Roaches During the Day
Roaches are usually active at night. If you begin seeing roaches during the
daytime, it can indicate that the population has grown large and they are being
forced out of hiding.
Small Black Droppings
Roach droppings often look like small black specks or coffee grounds. These are
commonly found in cabinets, drawers, pantries, under sinks, or behind appliances.
Egg Casings
Roaches leave behind egg casings called oothecae. These are small brown
capsule-shaped cases that may be found in hidden areas like cabinets,
behind appliances, or along baseboards.
Musty Odor
Larger infestations may produce a strong, unpleasant odor. This smell is often
described as musty or oily and becomes more noticeable as the infestation grows.
Roaches Around Food or Water Sources
Roaches are attracted to food crumbs, grease, and moisture. Seeing roaches
around kitchens, bathrooms, or trash areas is a common sign of activity.
